Amana water fill and ice maker

Question

I have a Amana side by side. I purchased it used. The ice maker has made only a fe3w cubes in the last 12 hrs and the water dispeser pours slowly. Does the icemaker take a wile to get going ? The water line to the frige is fine and I can hear the pump ingage when I use the water dispenser. Should I be getting more water or is it norm for the water to flow slowly?
