Now Shaq came (and played) like 3 weeks before playoffs and during that time Amare's numbers sky rocketed, think of next year when Shaq is there all the time. In I don't even remember how many games straight he averaged 30 and 10, his blocks went up and he averaged like 2 a game. He ended up being the 4th leading scorer in the league, top rebounder and blocker and scorer for the Suns, the top and 1 player, and 2nd most in Dunks. He is a best and more athletic than most PF/Center...............So do you see MVP in his future???

  1. Nope, he's not gonna become a MVP in the future sorry. With Nash, Shaq, Barbosa, Bell, etc. on his team, the Suns didn't even make it very far in the playoffs...

  2. His best chance of winning the MVP will be with Shaq staying with the Suns!

Amare is a much better player with Shaq in the line up.Just look at his numbers?

Without  Shaq he can't beat out players like Kobe,Lebron ,CP3 or even D Wade for MVP.

  3. Amare is the only player I like besides Kobe. But you know, Kobe will always be #1 with me. Amare is a great PF/C. He can do a lot of stuff. But I just don't see him being an MVP. He has a chance, but I doubt it. The Suns need to be #1 seed for him to be MVP and that's not going to happen. Or not really #1 seed but they do need to win a lot of games. And thats not going to happen in the Western Conference. Especially with so many teams rising. Especially young teams.

  4. its not that having shaq on the team allowed him to post up those numbers. its jus about him having a reliable center, his naturall position is at the forward position so it aint a big surprise he posting up big numbers. can he be mvp? naa i dont think so, amare isn't the type of player that makes himself the main man, for me nash is the main man in phoenix and not only bcos he's the point guard that runs the show, amare isn't a leader and last time i checked mvps are leaders. amare is a just a talented monster but nothing more than that. if there was a co-mvp award then yea amare would win that by a landslide. just like dwight howard amare is too honest, he gotta have that 'mamba' in him like kobe, lebron, the old shaq etc etc. then maybe you can consider him but i dont see that happening. maybe he needs to go to a scrub team like the wolves or memphis, being the main man in a team with no other stars might develop that killer instinct.

  5. no. cant even make it far in the playoffs with 2 superstars and amazing teamates
