I'm thinking of getting my DD for christmas the eqivelant to amarican girl. Maplelea which is actually ment for 6-12 years. I kind of want to just get her a well made doll and forgo any new ones and clear out her old ones. This is well made but they can be pricey at $100 a piece(I was looking at it it it would cost $250 for the doll+bedding and outfits). Does anyones kids have an amarican girl doll or maplelea and do you think it's worth the money? Are they easy to brake? I'm sure that the doll will need to see a spa in the futur though.

  1. I would buy her a Bitty Baby Doll, or the Bitty Twins.

  2. Those are beautiful dolls, but if you are going to spend that much money on them, you should probably give them at an age where the child will respect them, and take proper care of them. They are very pricy and a 3 year old just wouldn't have what it takes to understand this. It probably would be better to give her a doll that is more interactive, and leave the 'showpiece' dolls for the future.
