What are the requirements to get an amateur license?How much and where can i purchase.I live in Los Angeles,CA

  1. you need to register with USA Boxing. go to their website usaboxing.org and look or the Representative in you area and ask them to send you the form, where to send your form, and where you can find a registered trainer near you. to get you boxing book you need 2 passport style photos, a copy of your birth certificate, a doctors note that says you are healthy enough for boxing, and a check or money order for I think $32 which is made out to whatever the division of USA Boxing your area is part of

  3. Use the internet and go to www.usaboxing.com.  I'm not sure on the current fee but that's the primary source for all amateur boxers...

  4. When ever there is a official Amateur bout with the USA boxing people you can pay 30 dollars at the registration your coach should know how. Or if you don't have a coach yet go to usaboxing.org and they should have some information.
