Amateur Charley Hull ties at the 18th position -
Ladies Irish Open
The English amateur Charley Hull made many heads turn with her 18 position at the Ladies Irish Open. She finished the event with a score of 220.
She played a great game throughout the tournament and was not deterred by the presence of the great golf stars. This is one factor that will prove to be of immense help in her career ahead. Many amateurs lack this ability and are easily intimidated by the
big names.
Hull started the event with a bogey on the second hole. She scored a birdie on the fourth hole and then sank another bogey on the fifth. From then onwards, she scored birdies on holes 6, 7 and nine.
Her game went down a notch on the back nine. She scored a bogey on the 10th hole which was followed by a birdie on the 12th. She scored a double bogey on the 16th hole and finished the round with a birdie on the 18th
hole.
The second round was her worst with a score of 76. She bogeyed her way through this round with serious consequences for her final ranking.
She hit her first bogey on the fifth hole and then shot a string of bogeys on the 7th, 8th and 9th hole. On the back nine, she shot a bogey on the 12th hole. She made up for it with a birdie on the 15th
hole.
The final round was her best where she played a great game. She scored 73 points and secured the 18th position in the event.

and 18th hole.
Charley Hull has added to her reputation of upcoming young amateurs. She has improved her rankings and will now receive more attention at the events she will play next.
Many experts say that she will have a great career, both as and an amateur and a professional.
