Amateur Competetion Headgear?

Which brand has the best amateur competition headgear?

I use the Competition Headgear with Cheek Protectors from ringside.com I don't know if it is the best but it works just fine for me

Any head gear that is USA approved is good enough, all the manufactures sell them. A plain black head hear is best & stay away from white because every-time you get hit it is more noticeable. The judges look for the head being snapped back when your back is to them & again white or these other fancy colored ones stand out.

When you watch videos of fights see for yourself that the guys with white head gear always seem to have there heads all over the place. Also the cheek protectors are good for starters & then move into the open cheek when you are older. That is if you plan on turning pro, you feel the punches a little more but this is something you will need to get used to.
