The Crociati midfielder has revealed that he pounced upon the opportunity to return back to his former club from Fiorentina, and has insisted that he wants to make a new start.
Amauri is over the moon after signing back with his former club from Fiorentina, and has stated that he did not wait long to decide when the window of opportunity opened for him.
The 32-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Crusaders following a six-month loan spell with the side, in which he scored seven goals in 11 appearances for the club.
This will be the third stint with the Gialloblu for the striker, as he joined his former outfit on the expiration of his contract with the Viola.

The Crociati striker stressed that he always had an underlying hunger to come back to Parma, and revealed that he did not take long to make the decision when the opportunity presented itself.
The former Juventus-man went on to stress that he would like to start off things with the Crusaders just where he left off in the last season, and hoped that the signing will prove to be a good one for the club and himself.
While talking to the press, the 32-year-old said:
“This is a return home for me. I’m really happy. This transfer took just 10 minutes and no more. I was very happy here and I want to start again from where I left off.”
Parma director general then took over the microphone from Amauri, and revealed that it was the desire of the player to make a return to the Gialloblu that compelled them to sign the striker.
Pietro Leonardi went on to reveal that it was the forward’s desire to repair his relationship with Juventus, that led him to part company with the Ducali earlier.
The Ducali executive stressed that it was the mutual desire of the player and the outfit to strike a relationship, which allowed them to sign the contract despite interest from a number of clubs from abroad.
