The Bianconeri striker is desperately waiting for a response from La Viola after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by at Juventus Stadium.
Bench-held Juventus striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381, is desperately waiting to complete a transfer to Fiorentina, and wants it to happen as soon as possible.
The Turin giants are keen to sell the player for a reasonable price, but they have failed to find a suitable offer. The 31-year-old joined Juve from Palermo for a reported transfer fee of 22.8 million Euros in 2008.
Amauri impressed greatly in his debut season with the club, and amassed 14 goals in the 2008/09 season. However, the player’s form deteriorated the following term and he scored a meagre 6 goals from 30 appearances.
After finding first-team opportunities hard to come by at Juve, Amauri was loaned out to Parma in the January transfer window of 2010/11 season. The striker had an impressive campaign with the Crusaders, scoring seven goals in
11 games. But his return to the parent club has been disastrous.
The striker was recently talking to the media where he expressed his desire to play for Serie A outfit, Fiorentina. The 31-year-old said:
“I hope it can be done as soon as possible. You all know full well what is happening. I hope it can be done as soon as possible. I am continuing to train so I can be ready to step on to the field. I am awaiting a response and we’ll
see what happens.”
Amauri has spent the entire 2011/12 season on the bench and has failed to impress the head coach, Antonio Conte. Moreover, the Lady Killers already have a plethora of attacking options available at their disposal, and Amauri has
fallen down the pecking order.
The Brazilian-born Italian footballer is keen to find a new club in order to resurrect his playing career. On the other hand, Fiorentina will also be looking to add an experienced striker in their ranks after http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-c4309 Gilardino’s
departure to Genoa.
Amauri could find first-team opportunities under Delio Rossi, as he has struggled to find a partner for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adem-Ljajic-c3612 being deployed as an emergency striker in the recent matches.
