The former Palermo striker has broken his silence over the treatment he received at Juventus, and was extremely disappointed by their attitude towards him.
The Brazilian born striker moved to Juventus after his successful stint in Palermo, and even though he was used regularly in the initial seasons for the club, he was later
loaned out to Parma in 2011. Amauri was extremely prolific in front of goal for the Gialloblu, however the Crociati did not cement a deal for Amauri, and the striker returned to Juve after Conte’s appointment.
In his previous statements, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 striker has stated that he moved back to Juventus with hopes of being able to break into the first team. He had also praised
Conte for his work ethic and the fact that all the team used to work at a high training level.
However, after breaking goal drought of over a year, the attacker has hit back at Antonio Conte for shutting him out at Juventus. He was clearly disappointed for not being
given a valid reason for the treatment he received.
He mentioned that the treatment he received at the hands of the former Bari manager led him to finding new clubs to pursue his career. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 stated his enthusiasm at returning
to Juventus and how his bubble burst after being treated like dirt. He further went on to state:
“I returned to Juventus with great enthusiasm [last summer], but only after two days of training, my great desire for redemption had completely vanished.”
The striker spoke of predicament and went on to state that he was forced to train by himself in the scorching heat, and mentioned:
“I found myself having to train alone at noon, or at two or three in the afternoon under a sun at 35 degrees. I eventually asked the club to allow me to train with the primavera.
He also clarified that he tried to clear the air between himself and the manager but it was to not avail, and also commented:
“I tried to speak twice with Conte, but it was useless - I never understood the reason for this relentlessness. They treated me as if I had wronged someone, I was rotting
as a player in the dressing room, so when I left, it was in agreement with everyone.”
Amauri’s goal led the club to an unlikely victory over the reigning Italian champions.
