US Palermo sporting director, Sean Sogliano, has negated the chances of a return for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381. The striker played the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons at Stadio Renzo Barbera before joining Juventus FC in May 2008 for a reported 23 million Euros transfer fee.

of weeks.
However, the Sicilians have been quick to respond to the rumours and have confirmed that Amauri is not the player they are looking for at the moment. The Rosanero sporting director, while talking to Radio Sportiva, gave a statement regarding the possible
move on the 31-year-old striker, saying:
"Amauri is an important player, but Palermo are looking at other players right now.”
Even though the sporting director has not shown interest in the hitman, the Aquile President, Maurizio Zamparini, has been keen on the player and revealed that he likes Amauro’s game play. However, the President also said that wages of 4 million Euros per
season are too steep for them and this might be the only problem in bringing the player back to Stadio Renzo Barbera.
On the other hand, the Friuli outfit are looking to make a good run in the Italian top flight once more and are also appearing in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers next month. In order to add quality and strength to the forward block, Amauri is being
looked upon as the player who can fulfil the Zebrette demands.
