Answer: Yes, it has. For 15 seconds, count the chirps of the cricket. Then add 37. The total is the temperature in Farenheit.

In answer to Chris A, if you now know the temp in farenheit and want it in celsius then subtract 32, then divide by 9, then multiply by 5.

ie, 68 faranheit, minus 32 is 36, divide by 9 is 4, multiply by 5 is 20.
