  1. Lasagna. Can't go wrong. Google some recipes.

  2. If by minced you mean chopped up, the fastest thing I can think of that does not cost that much or require too many ingredients is pasta with meat sauce - throw in some garlic bread and it will be a winner.

Preparation time for entire meal is about 25-30 minutes

    What you need:

1 Small package of - Ground Chuck

    Garlic powder or fresh garlic

Oregano and sweet basil - in powder form.

Spagetti Sauce (prego, francesco ranaldi, etc.)

    Pasta (Linguini is always good)

    Italian Bread (small)

Tip: stock up on herbs and keep them handy

Season your meat with salt and garlic - then brown in a pan

Once meat is browned - add your sauce, a few dashes of garlic powder, sweet basil and oregano - let simmer.

Boil your water, add some salt and olive oil - add pasta - let cook for 10 minutes

    Set oven to 350 degrees

Cut Italian bread in half, slather it with butter, sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano powder - put bread on a baking pan or aluminum foil let it brown for about 10 minutes

Drain water - put pasta on plates and put meat sauce on top - cut bread and put on separate plate, maybe in a small basket over napkins and have yourself great little dinner with a nice bottle of wine.

    3.  Mean while you should have the potatoes boiling in some water.  Peel & cut the poatoes into cubes.  Then toss them in a food processer mix on slow speed while adding milk slowely until you get a fluffy nice texture.

    4.  Add the nutmeg, black pepper & some salt to the potatoes mix.  Keep aside & get back to your meat.

    5.  Mix the two eggs with the meat & some milk.  Add the rest of the onion and 2 tablespoons of tomatoe paste.

    6.  Get a baking dish and firmly press the minced to make a base layer.  Use your hands to evenly sread the meat.
