Amazon shipped my order to the wrong address, Can i get a refund or any compensation for the late delivery?

I ordered an Epilator and a book off amazon about 3 weeks ago and my order has still not arrived. Turns out the company messed up and shipped it to the wrong address (They called and said this). My order was supposed come in around 5-8 business days but is now more than 2 weeks late. Can i get any compensation for the lateness, after all it was the company's mistake for shipping it to the wrong address.

Even though it was really a mistake, and the company was very good for telling you up front, it sure wouldn't hurt to call and complain.  Amazon is a large enough company, and it takes pride in its service. They want happy customers. So call them after receiving your items.  I can't see why they wouldn't accomodate you somehow.  If not a discount or refund on this purchase, at least they may give you credit toward a future purchase (like give you a gift card or something).
