Question:

Amazon shipping help?!?!?!?!? ?

I am a seller on amazon and recently i have sold a book. Amazon says that the total net gain after everything is abt $20. Then, i go to a shipping place and i ask the person how much it will cost. He said that the shipping this package will cost $13. I did buy the shipping case to put the book in, ut i didn't expect it to be $13. The book weighed like 3 pounds. So, does anyone know how to ship an item with minimal cost so that i make the profit amazon predicts? thanks you for your time.

Also, i would like to know how to get paid. It says transaction complete, but does that mean that the money is transferred to my credit card?

  1. Most people ship media mail via USPS.  If you take the book to someplace and have someone else pack/ship it for you, it will cost much, much more.  With USPS, you will still need to purchase a box to ship it in.  But, the shipping rate itself is usually only a few bucks.

I sold on Amazon for a bit, and if I recall, they transferred money every two weeks.  Check your account - they had a variety of options on how to get paid, I chose to have it deposited directly to my bank account.  I don't recall "credit card" being an option.
