Has anyone brought cosmetics off amazon posted to australia? I'm thinking of getting my mum a stila gift pack off there. Do you have to pay for custom fees? Thanks!

  1. Their site lists the shipping costs, but states: "We are currently able to ship books, CDs, DVDs, VHS videos, music cassettes, and vinyl records to Australian addresses" but no cosmetics.

"There is a good likelihood that your packages will be subject to the customs fees and import duties of Australia."

They do list personal care on another page, so maybe they can:

"Additionally, some consumer electronics, health and personal care, home and garden, jewelry, pet supplies, shoes, software, sporting goods, tools, video games, and watches can be shipped to the following countries:

          Australia, Austria..."

    Custom fees:

"Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates."
