Amber deposits around the world?

where in the world are thre amber deposits, and what plants does each one come from?

Amber dates from tree resins deposited millions of years ago.  Probably coniferous trees.   The main deposits are in the Baltic region of northern Europe and the Dominican Republic.   There is also amber in Switzerland, Austria, France, Burma, and Mexico, and a few other scattered locations.   Look it up on the internet to find more.
