  1. macbeth is a tragedy so when dealing with a play of this nature it would be wise to look at aristotle of ancient greece, the father of this genre, aristotle liked to see tragedy as the fall of princes and to provide good tragedy the central hero had to have an innate flaw,an essential weakness or hamertia which brings about his downfall,in macbeth this flaw is his ambition, apart from his own "imperial theme" focus also on how others ie lady macbeth and the witches prey on this flaw and shake his "seated heart"

  2. ambition is said to be MacBeth's tragic flaw, causing his destruction.

  3. what he ^^^ said.
