  1. Intel is best than AMD. it is costly but best for Games

  2. intel.  Below is a link that will take you to some charts where you can select the task or benchmark you wish to compare various cpu's performance in.  Scroll to the bottom of the chart and click "view all products" in order to add all the most recent cpu's into the graph.

  3. buy core 2 duo E8400 its the best in the sense of value for your money performance. It even beats core 2 quad Q6600 on many tests.so go for it if you can afford it.

    good luck.

  4. they are both great processors AMD n Intel, but i personally prefer Intel

  5. Intel is the good one for gaming as compared with AMD. Bcoz in Intel processors processor speed, FSB speed and cache memory are high and Intel processors supports latest MMX instructions. If you have sufficient money with you go with Intel® Core™2 Extreme processor QX9770 processor, EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI 775 A1 Version motherboard NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 (This is professional graphics card) graphics card and Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro soundcard with CoolerMaster Cabinet and liquid cooling solutions. This is the great combination for playing games. If you have this system with you, virtually you can play any game with all high settings. Otherwise go to www.alienware.com. This is the site only for PC gaming systems.

  6. amd processors generate lot of heat as compared to intel chips. hotter the processor, slower it will perform. intel any given day is fater than amd. amd is a horrible processor, dont go for it. amd claim big but deliver little. fact is that they are slightly better than intel celeron. if you are into gaming , Intel core2 duo (min.1.8ghz) wil give you a good performance. if you can spend 4000 extra , then opt for intel quad core processor 2.4ghz .
