America's Best Dance Crew airs dress rehearsal footage?

I heard on youtube under the comments of ABDC videos that the dances are actually a composite of the actual performance in front of an audience and the dress rehearsal with a audiance added digitally to get better camera angles. The controversy is that Super Crew messed up really bad during the Missy Elliot challenge but the judges don't mention it. The theory is that the part where they messed up was done during the rehearsal but not during the actual performace.

Also, I am wondering how the producers are able to put it video clips of the performances into the show before the judge names exactly what clip they are referring to. This was also done for the Live finale. Which elliminates the idea that they add them after the show is filmed, which they would do for the other episodes. My theory is that the judges watch the performace before the actual show and figure out what they're going to say and what clips they're going to use before the show in front of the audience.

This all seems very fake. Judges are probably being told what to say by the producers.

  1. yeah this kinda makes sense. the audience is definitely scripted by the directors, its as if they're a fan of EVERY crew. and all the time the judges already know what to say about the performance only a few seconds from ending. and almost every time they mention stuff that i dont even remember seeing, meaning some parts that i need to be reminded of.

remember last season? kaba modern? the crew that should have been at the finals with jabbawockeez? hehe yeah one of the girls in that crew, Yuri Tag, is my friend's sister. theyre touring at the moment, but she usually tells andy, my friend, a lot of stuff so when i get the chance, i'll ask about this subject.

btw, about last season, the broadway episode, if you guys remember yuri messed up a move and was singled out by lil mama about it. this part might go against your argument.

  2. Oh yeah tht makes sense I agree with you

  3. The crews do rehearse and I am sure the judges do see the performance before the show airs. That is how they show the clips that the judges are talking about. They do the same thing for American Idol too. That's how that Paula Abdul slip up happened, they have their comments written in front of them most of the time and then they just read them after the performance.
