America at war with great britan?

who would win if america went to war with great britan?.who has d strongest army?.would any other countries help either country?.and i dont want answers saying they wouldnt because they ar allies,i want to no who would win.by d way im irish so im not takin sides. i wounder wat side we would take

The US would totally own Great Britain if the two went to war.  The US military is very large and one of the most advanced in the world.  Which countries help out either side would depend on why they went to war, but I think the EU and many other nations would probably rather see Great Britain win.  World politics is kind of like playing king of the hill.  Right now the US is on top of the hill, and everyone else would like to see them knocked off.

Unfortunately, the US of A would dominate Great Britain due to Britain's decline in power since the rein of Queen Victoria and after the two world wars. However I refuse to believe America would ever see the reason nor' the want to attack Britain as they are the greatest of allies.

Why would the US bother going to war with GB as GB seems to act like the 52nd state half the time. A fairly short economic embargo would soon cripple GB. We might lose less soldiers though than we have being an ally of USA. How many have been killed in "friendly fire" incidents so far?

they wouldn't fight in the first place, and USA would own GB , usa boasts the best soldiers with equipment/training, best navy and air force.

Lets not forget that Great Britain is the closest country to ever have world domination.Ruling over 3/4 of the planet. It has the most tactical and mobile special service in the world. America has modeled its delta force from the SAS, including many others. Britain is now building two of the biggest ships ever to sail in the Royal Naive. It has also the RAF. Royal Air Force. When it comes to Britain's defense we fight like a stag guarding its hinds. And we would have the Backing of the EU, which is many countries and many different army's. Not that we would ever go to war. I Emmit we might lose but we would fight to the last bullet like we did with the germans but that is a different story.

Even though it would never happen, and I wish it never does, I think The United States would. Britan would kill a lot of are soldiers before it gos down. I dont think we would accually destroy them, because there are biggest allie, so something would happen to were a peace agreement would be formed. Like I said I hope it would never happen!

We have the number, the technology, and the skill.

The british have the skill, pretty good technology, and are very well disaplined!

Britain has more soldiers than the U.S., but our soldiers are better trained, we have better vehicles and equipment, like the M1A2 Abrams tank, which is basically indestructable. To sum it all up, we would kick their sorry butts. And to the allies thing... See, "ally", is the lowest form of friendship. That means that Britain COULD be our enemy tommorow, but it is unlikely because we support each other quite a bit.

The British are not willing to throw away the lives of their sons, just as we arent. If either side started the conflict, they would have no support from any world powers, because they are also not willing to trade lives for nothing.

If we did have a conflict, it would have to be over something like illegal detention of civilians, which both sides seem to enjoy doing. Im sure that after the first battle, there would be a truce and we would get the h**l over whatever stupid thing started it.
