  1. Coming from a yank so you can bank on this one.

The nine is spotted on the racking dot.

Two choices depending on tourney rules.

    1. Ball in hand for the player who did not break. (most common)

    2. Player who did not break gets to pace cue anywhere behind the breaking dot.

  2. that would be a re-rack

  3. The nine ball would be spotted and the next player will have ball in hand placement.

  4. Actually you never lose if you sink the nine and scratch (cue ball leaves the table).  The nine ball gets spotted and the incoming player has ball in hand.

  5. There might be a different idea on ruling to this question but the proper rules is the 9 get respotted and the opponent gets ball in hand.

  6. no it doesn't

  7. American Rules?....never heard of them...but depending where you are playing and who with the rulles may vary.......Under BCA rules....the 9 comes back and gets spotted.......your opponent gets ball in hand......otherwise anytime the 9 goes in after hitting a legal shot....even if you did not call it....it is a win......unless you are playing "call the 9" or my favorite......"9 ball last ball in".....good luck on the tour!!

  8. if you sink the 9 and the cue balls..you lose..if you sink the 9 and jump the cue ball off the table...you lose...if you don't sink the 9 ball and you foul...ball in hand.

  9. I have to agree with mostly everyone that said...

    9 ball is spotted

Ball in hand for next player
