What are the requirements to become an American Airline Pilot? Minimum requirements and competative requirements?

Well, first you have to wait about another ten years.  They are recalling the TWA guys, but that will take a long time.  I'm sure they won't be hiring pilots for awhile.  What are your qualifications?  Just apply everywhere and see what happens.
