American Business - Federal tax - and the people?

I fond it interesting how more than 60% of American business (large business) and foreign business that operate in this country do not pay federal tax using loop holes. Yet the american people must pay federal taxes on all income from whatever source derived and go to JAIL and lose all property when they do not.

how is this fair and will it change?

Uh, the GAO report did NOT say that all of those companies, or anywhere near it, used loopholes.  Some had actual losses, and many are S-corps and LLC's where the corp doesn't pay any tax, it passes through to the owner and that person pays the tax on their personal return.

And since when do anywhere near all American people pay income tax?  Huge numbers of people are below the limit where they owe any tax, and many get back more than they had withheld through EIC.

And you do realize that the corporate taxes end up getting paid by the CUSTOMERS of the corporations?  Or where did you think they got their money?
