American Eagle job and its application

I just got an application for American Eagle Outfitters and was wondering if I'm fifteen and turn sixteen in like two months is there a place on the application where you can put when you can start working? And is it true that they only hire attractive people?? Are all the interviews group or can they be single?

Hi there,

No that is not true that they only hire 'attractive" people. AE does not discriminate under any circumstances.

Most interviews in the company are done in a group setting with at least 2 people. Usually they are between 4 and 8 people.

You may indicate on your application the date that you can start working, but I would also suggest that when you bring your application into the store, speak with the manager on duty and explain your circumstances to him or her.

usually they interview as a group.  No they don't have "attractive" standards, you can't discriminate due to ugly.  usually there is a availability section on the application.

Interviews are generally single and no, it's illegal to hire based on beauty. And there should be an area for "notes" on the app
