American Express Blue-Im 19?

I just got approved for an AMEX Blue and I am 19. Just wondering what this means if anything. I did not think I was going to be approved but I wanted an AMEX card so I applied, got a 1800 dollar limit with 6 months 0%. I have a house bestbuy card and my debit account. What might my credit score be?

for like 5 or 10 bucks you can find out your credit score on line. if you pay your bills on time, with the short history you have, its probably pretty good. there are two different scores, make sure you understand what you are seeking and what you find.

If you were my son I would tell you that once a month fill your tank go home and write the check wait for the bill and pay it immediately. It is ok to have credit that is minimally used but it is so easy to limit those things out. Most store credit cards are not good for your credit scores. DONT USE THEM and now that you have them don't close them. Take some money management classes and learn how to control your money and credit scores. I can help with some of this if you wish.

I had that card with a $2500 limit and my score was about 800 They are VERY aggressive in collecting debt so make sure you pay it off on time.
