American Express gift cheque?

My grandma gave me an american express gift check for 100$ but recently passed away. A lot of stores near me won't except a gift check and tell me to cash it. Well, i cant cash it because im only 15 and dont have an account. She also signed in the wrong place. She signed where I am supposed to sign when i spend it. So my question is am i just screwed with this thing? I really cant think of anyway i can spend it or get money for it.

just tell the stores its like  travelers check (its techianlly the same thing)

and you might try some american express travel stores too

they mioght be able to help you

otherwise have a family member  help you

or go to a bank (you dont need an account they should be able to help you

Maybe have someone, a family member deposit the check in their bank account, or cash it, and then give you the money.

you might be screwed...esp if she already signed the line that you're suppose to sign..have your mom deposit it into her bank, and then give u the  cash..
