I have watched american idol over the years, and i am super addicted. I was also schocked to hear about another judge, and i really think its a good thing because paula tends to annoy me and spaces out too much lol. so this chicks name is kara dioguardi, and apparently a successful writer and grammy nominated.... interesting

Her name is Kara DioGuardi and she is a songwriter who has written songs for Celine Dion, Clay Aiken, Ashlee Simpson, etc.  They probably want to balance off Paula&#039;s lunacy.
