American Idol is adding a 4th judge! Dumb idea or not?

I think it's a dumb idea. What if two thought William Hung (or whatever talentless s*****k) was a good singer and two thought he sucked? Would he have went to Hollywood?

I agree with what you said, but I think it really depends on who the fourth host is.

Yeah, apparantly the new judge is a songwriter  (britney spears, mily cyrus, etc.) so who knows how she will be as a judge. I think they 'll go for a 3 out of 4 vote...because currently they have a 2 out of 3 vote that sends them to hollywood.  its pretty ridiculous, but i heard theyre doing it because paula is so unstable that who knows how long she'll be around (mentally).

I don't like the idea because I'm used to the three judges already and adding a forth judge would be pointless.
