Thank You.

But why do you say stone?

Is it an actual stone that someone weighed?

Was it gold stones?

  1. 1 stone = 14 pounds

  2. a stone is a rock...there are many different sizes of rocks and i don't think that 14 lbs is the international weight. I'm also stumped

  3. 14lbs = 1 stone

  4. A stone is a measurement of weight equal to 14pounds or 6.35 kilograms. In the past real stones, which were piece of rocks were used to measure the weight of agricultural or forest produce. Presently it is used for a persons' weight. No mention of any gold stone is to be found in the history.
