safe as any other Airline.  When you check the amount of airline crashes its safe to say they are all okay.  Not that many crashes compared to flights that go out each day.  All are pretty safe...

They are safe, but people I know have had bad luck with them running late (thus missing another flight) and loosing luggage.

Sure its safe. All airlines are safe, if they werent, then they wouldnt exist. Traveling by air is the most safest way to travel. Look how many car wrecks they have each year. American Airlines arent the most expensive, but they are okay i guess. I rode one of their planes before.
