American baseball clubs probing in on infielder, Tsuyoshi Nishioka
Life in Major League Baseball has its share of twists and turns. It comes as no surprise to see the top brass teams fight for the best players in the World. While most of the intake of ball stars either comes from the local states or the South American continent,
there have been moves made on the Far East side.
There is always room for potential and this offseason period is a great opportunity for the top clubs to make the right moves in the free agency before Thanksgiving hits the deck at the start of December.
For most players in the league, it’s holiday season. For those, who are sitting in the free agents’ market, the time spent in the off season is critical to their respective future. While teams look to close in on the right size of stars needed in vacant
or weak positions, there have been scouts walking the extra mile to find other choices available in the market. Though the transgression may be time consuming to say the least, better prospects can be brought to the United States on cheap salary packages.
However, that isn’t true for the Oakland Athletics, who are trying their best to prepare for the challenge in 2011. Their current roster seems to be looking strong and with an influx of good pitchers and batters, the side is making strides to sign Japanese
star, Hisashi Iwakuma. The A’s may have won the bid to negotiate a contract with the top ball thrower in Asia but they aren’t making progress in reaching an agreement.
The A’s aside, Japanese team, Chiba Lotte Marines have recently announced that a club from Major League Baseball has just won the bid to negotiate a contract with their top infielder, Tsuyoshi Nishioka.
The news doesn’t come as a surprise as the top hitter recently guided his side to a victory in the Japan Series. The highly admired player won the Nippon Professional Baseball batting title and is now a highly targeted asset.
The Minnesota Twins are likely to be the leaders in the bidding line and with the Florida Mariners, Baltimore Orioles and the Boston Red Sox close behind in pursuit of the infielder, there is believed to be a high valuation on the star. It has been recently
been announced that the top bidder will be announced on Friday.
