  1. No it's a long and very expensive process to apply for that.. You'd have to apply for US residency then after so many years then you can apply for his US passport

Your children should have dual citizenship as far as I know but you may have to apply for that also depending upon their place of birth.

I just went threw getting my visas for the UK. My hubby and I decided against moving to the US because it can take up to 10 years to actually get citizenship and cost thousands of $$.  It was easier for me to get into the UK than it was for him to get into the US.

  2. Your kids are or will be American by birth, so they are allowed to apply for a passport (or you on their behalf).

Your partner on the other hand will not be American until he meets the requirements, which involve residing in the US for several years.

If you wish to return to the US with your partner, then you will have to apply for a visa on his behalf with the embassy of the US in London, which will allow him to get a green card. Once he's had his green card for 3 years, he will be able to apply for US citizenship. Once he has acquired US citizenship, then he will be able to apply for a US passport.

  3. No the passport is only for you

  4. nope, holding a passport doesn't mean anything for your family. they will have to apply and get one as well.

  5. I don't really think so.  He would have to apply for his own passport.

  6. your unborn baby will automatically entitle to American citizen, or whichever county that the baby will be deliver, the children has the option. But for your husband, they have to apply to live in the U.S and after three years, he can apply for citizenship in order get American pass ports.

  7. learn to spell citizenship and maybe they'll let you stay
