American citizenship question.HELP?

hey guys i am starting my career for acting in canada...and then head off to LA for disney channel acting in bout 3-4 yrs.

Do i still need to get a american citinzship to live there...i mean im going for a job...or do i need a visa...do i need to pay a lot to live in the US??

  1. you need to go back to elementary school first, when you SUCCESSFULLY finish the second grade you will know that Canada is IN America and if you have Canadian citizenship you are an American.


  2. You'll need a work visa.  If you plan on working in Hollywood you'll need a Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) card too.


  3. All non-Americans, incl Canadians, need a visa to be able to work in the USA. Canadians can under the NAFTA apply for visas and the TN visa could be the way to go. There are certain requirements that has to be fulfilled for the visa to be issued - depends on your case. Your employer should be able to help but for independent advise you need to talk to a visa attorney.
