American dream in terms of sociology?

What evidence (personal or otherwise) do you have to back up your belief that you will or will not achieve the Dream?

What?  How can anyone guess anything anymore?  With the way our world is currently, not only in America but everywhere, all we can do is hope and pray.  There is no evidence to support either case, it simiply is or is not going to happen.
