American football or rugby?

I'd like to learn the rules of american football and the difference between american football and rugby. so i'm looking for a website or a place where i can find the rules and explications maybe even with graphical examples.

Vastly different games. I suggest you watch a game of rugby and watch a game of NFL in its entirety just to comprehend the differences.

Wikipedia has extensive info on both.  There aren't too many visual aids but the basic ideas are there, and also the difference between union and league as well.

I tried to watch American football the other night and i just did,nt get it...At least in rugby they don,t wear those silly shoulder pads.....Rugby any day.
