  1. UK College or university?

All university applications go through an organisation called UCAS (www.UCAS.com).  Basically to apply you need to write a personal statement, and depending on the uni and course u might have to take an admissions test ( normally just for law or medicine).  You also need references ect...

Generally i think tuition fees are £3,000 on average a year, but you basically get a student loan, which you pay off when you're earning a certain amount in a job.  However if you're classed as an overseas student the fees are way more.

Its best to go onto the UCAS site and search for the course that you are interested in.  Then you can find the universities that offer the course, and see what their own specifications are for overseas applications.  Also due to the qualification differences, you may need to see if they accept the qualifications you have already.

  2. You need to go through an organization named UCAS. Here is their website. http://www.ucas.com/students/nonukstuden... You're high school may be able to help you.

It can be very expensive to study in the UK, not just because of the fees, but because the cost of living is very high. I don't know the full cost, but a UK national doing a 3 year course generally takes out a loan of between $20,000-$40,000 on top of the money given to them by family. And that's to when they pay the local student's fees. The international students fees are generally much higher.

I don't think that there is very much time left to apply for a UK University and I don't know if you would be able to get an application and a Visa together in time. UK college places are allocated in advance based on students predicted grades, so they go early. By this time of year the places that are left are mostly at unpopular colleges or are places that were pre-allocated to students who for some reason didn't/couldn't take them up.

There is a system known as Clearing for late places, contact UCAS to ask about it. I don't know how that works.
