  1. Yeah....we sit around all day watching TV. And *gasp* free public education is available to us. This is torture.

  2. Um no

  3. Its definatley not true.

  4. I think they do in a way. They may have sufficient food, shelter and sanitation, but they lack a sense of real purpose in life.

    More is less.

They have too much pressure to compete with each other and follow ridiculous and meaningless rituals in order to fit into their society. They have to dress a certain way, own certain toys, and act a certain ways in order to be seen as being "cool". Their lives bear little real meaning as too much emphasis is placed on consumerism and not enough on family and  morals. They have all the pressure on them to perform for consumerism. They would certainly have more stress than a child living in a dove loping country.

American kids (most not all) do not know what hardship is. They will get a real shock later in life if they have to struggle after growing up in the lap of luxury. Hardship is also a bit of a character builder. American kids are unable to appreciate the simple things in life, and are instead left with an empty feeling of continuously wanting something and never being satisfied.

What kind of a life it that? Wouldn't you rather have meaning in your life, and be able to be happy with what you have, even if it means a bit of hardship?

  5. oh yes we do,pity us, pity us. no im playing. only the really destitute inner city kids have a hard life financially (not saying they're all poor), but any american kid can have a hard life with their parents or family at home.

  6. are u sure about that..what about african children.no food,no parents,no tv,no computer.

    what are u talking about

  7. Probably in out of modern countries, yes. Most children start staying alone at 7 and 8 years old while parents work and watch siblings. Parents divorce a lot. Health care is expensive. School is expensive. Kids learn to live by themselves basically.

  8. I think the program was wrong. American children are most often privileged, spoiled and haven't a clue about real hardships.

  9. The USA  has hundreds of million of children so I suspect it's partially true. Children who are born into poverty in the US do indeed have a hard life. I guess there are some kids who have parents that work that could also have it hard as well. Not ALL kids in the US are spoiled and rich.

  10. Everybody has a hard life believe it or not. Now which burden is heavier than the other? I don't know but the poor in America definitely

  11. Yeah, eating hamburgers.

  12. americans dont have a hard life !!!!!!!!!!
