having trouble answering a question. does anyone know what it may be?

What reasons might Native Americans have had difficulty uniting to repel the European intruders?

  1. Many Nations (or tribes if you will) were enemies over resources and home-range. Wouldn't be anymore likely than two countries in the middle east that hate each other uniting to make the U.S. leave.


  2. The native americans were all from different tribes, and different tribes were usually enemies, so they didnt want to fight side by side with their enemies.

  3. Some Native Americans were half-half with the European intruders - some thinking they were gods from the sea and some thinking otherwise.

    Besides, its kind of hard to rebel when they have metalic guns, hardy-har har.
