Question:

American looking to apply for EU citizenship

My estranged father's father was an immigrant from Greece and I was wondering if that still counts when it comes to me taking the much easier route out when applying for EU citizenship. Also, I never met my father, nor grandfather but if I was able to prove that it was his country of origin would it still count? Or I'm just in a fallacy world and he would still have to be a citizen there?

  2. Do yourself a favour, stay in the USA. Europe sucks!!!

  3. Having a Greek grandfather can get you greek citizenship. You need all the paperwork from you to him (marriage, birth, death certificates etc.).

    Check with the Greek Embassy.

    Good Luck!
