  1. its definitely not like china lol

here are some places that you should go: lotteworld(indoor amusement park) or everland, dongdaemun market, namdaemun market, itaewon, and chenggaecheon, etc.

if your just gonna stay in seoul, i would recommend you to just walk around and exploreXD

there is also a huge mall (underground) called COEX that is worth visiting too

  2. Definitely go to itaewon, it is the area where the foreigners hang out but still lots of koreans, lots of bars and restaurants.

Namdaemun is a HUGE market, easy to get lost in, and definitely worth the experience - (Get off at hoehyeon on the subway)

Some advice - Koreans dont seem to have a sense of personal space. You will probably have people cut you off, box you in, push past you and not even notice, so watch where you walk! Double check when crossing the road, even at crossings controlled by lights some cars just go through red lights. Beware of scooters, and the occasional car that drive on the footpath.

I have never been to China, but Korea is certainly unique

    Have a great time!

Edit: if you use a taxi, use only the white ones. the black ones are more expensive

  3. South Korea is not a communist country like China. Don't be fooled.

AND THIS IS THE BIGGIE. DON'T GO TO PLACES WHERE THE US MILITARY GO.  Like Japan, stay away from places where the US military hang out; they're nothing but trouble.

Explore Korea all around.  When you get to Seoul, there's English speaking help desks to help you around. It's an overall beautiful country.

  4. Go to Itaewon. It is the area where all the foreigners live or go to. It has a lot of places to shop, club, and eat all at reasonable prices. They also carry a lot of American stuff here at shops as it is the local hang out area for the U.S. army. I hope that helps! Also, Gangnam is a nice area to visit. I'm not sure if Korea is like China, but I'm teaching ESL in Songpa and it's a decent area.

  5. Don't compare S****y china with Korea!!!

china is jus cheap and dangerous full of triands.

Korea, is a place where everyone wants to learn english

and if they see whites then they'll be very curious what you are & stuff.

Warnings... it's completely safe, maybe there might be aggressive

drivers around but don't worry if the police catches them doing unlawful

action and harms or disturbs public peace then they'll get their ***

    fined.

Korea, good place for shopping, the girls are nice (mainly due to large

plastic surgery that Korean girls are into) and also there many places

to visit and I think 2 days is very short! need at least like 2 weeks!!!

    Anyways enjoy!!!
