American news elsewhere?

In other countries do they talk about celebrities and politics within the US? If so, how common is it?

This age of electronics allows information to be around the world in seconds, so the answer is yes it is very common everywhere.  I guess in the farthest hills of Afghanistan you might have a few problems keeping up with the gossip, but everywhere else gets the same gossip and trivia as you.

Quite common...it seems the rest of the world knows more about America than America knows about the rest of the world....
