They both have their points. Shawn in addition to her gymnastic competence has tremendous Olympic spirit and generosity that you can't help but admire.

um ok...........but i really felt bad for them. Like i thought shawn definetly deserved bronze insted of the chinese girl and all the ppl in the bakground were sayin the same thing u no that the other girl had more visible mistakes than Shawn but china still won that 1. And Nastia, i was watching her last nite and she was really good and i didnt see the china person but i still thot that she deserved to win after such a good performance thing. And they both were tied and the tie breaking was so stupid! Also the guy with the mustache that cums on after they showed the competition was saying that sumthing is going on with judges. Like china is gr8 and everything and at times a 1000 times better than the rest but wen times *** 4 ppl who do better than them, they shodnt just take an undeserved award. And I thought Nastia shod hav one........I like both, shawn had to go threw sum really ruf times in the olympics but she stayed threw it and thats really brave. Nastia is also a very good gymast

From the people around me, I'm getting the sense that they like Shawn more than Nastia bc Shawn smiles more often and Nastia always have her game face on.  

Shawn is the American sweet heart type while Nastia is the elegant ballerina ("cold beauty") type.  

Each is unique in their own way.

And what does it matter?  Both are bringing America great honor and America should be proud of both.
