American pop icon Lady Gaga to perform at after-party of 2011 Indian Grand Prix
American pop icon Lady Gaga will perform at the after-party of 2011 Indian Grand Prix scheduled to take place from 28-30 October, at the Buddh International Circuit.
Famous Indian actor Arjun Rampal announced this to media on Thursday, September 22, 2011.
The Indian Grand Prix which will be the first motor racing event hosted by the Subcontinent nation has been in limelight for a long time now.
Promoters of this event are busy in designing campaigns and planning strategies to make this event a big hit amongst the audiences. Maximum efforts are being taken to make sure that this race turns out to be as spectacular as those which take place in Europe.
In an effort to attract large number of fans to this racing event, the organisers of this race have invited Lady Gaga to mark the 2011 Indian Grand Prix with her astounding performance. She will be singing at the Formula 1 after-party hosted by the Bollywood
actor Arjun Rampal at Restro bar, Lap. The tickets to her show will cost around 40,000 Indian Rupees.
Speaking to IANS, Rampal said, “She has one million Twitter fans and over 40 million Facebook fans. It's a great feeling to get an icon like her to perform at your club at your lounge.”
This will be Gaga’s first visit to India.
Therefore, she is really looking forward to her trip and is very happy to be a part of this great venture. The Indians feel honoured to have a star of her stature to be at their soil and are all arms to welcome her.

Other performers include DJ Roger Sanchez, Edward Maya and Tom Navy.
DJ Roger Sanchez and Edward Maya will be performing during the first two days. Tom Navy will enthral the audiences on the third day while Gaga will be performing after the race.
The Indian Grand Prix is going to be an action-packed, star-studded, glittery event that ought not to be missed.
