American princess title?

in the tv show american princess, what does the title mean do they get special treatment when in england is it something meaningless?

The only true titled princesses in the US come from other countries.  There are several Saudi princesses who live in the DC Metro area - you could walk past them and not even realize it.  There are no American princesses.

There will never be a meaningful title of royalty in this country. Getting away from that sort of thing is one of the founding tenets of this nation. Washington himself refused to be called "Majesty" upon being elected our first presidnet. His choice of title? Mr. President. Royal titles are completely worthless here, escept maybe as a conversation piece.

Ever heard of the Boston Tea Party. That put the end to any chance of an American Princess. America has never had a princess, as Grace Kelly took on the nationality of Monaco, much like Australia does not have a princess, as she is Danish

American princess is just a television show and you should never believe all you watch on television :)

HaHa...it was a reality show....plain and simple...We have an American Princess...A true one and she would make these girls look like a bag lady...her name was Grace Kelly..
