American rest room does not have a washing tap, is that true?

Even I heard that in the whole of U.S, this is the practice. How you people are living there? All U.S return should stand away from me.........................

I guess this a cultural difference.  We here in India are not used to what i call it as "Tissue" (paper) culture.  In west its a practice to use paper towels, instead of water.  Being here it looks strange for us, but if you are there, it gets imbibed into your culture and looks Ok.

I think he means the Asian practice of washing ones backside after using the toilet (he's not talking about hand washing).  In Europe many public toilets have a bidet (and most hotels) for the same purpose.  In Egypt and places in the East like that, toilets generally have a small shower head on a flexible hose next to the toilet.  In hotels there is often a built in 'bidet' inside the toilet used just by turning a tap at the side of the toilet.  In Europe now many people use a moist tissue wipe after paper so it is the same thing - cleanliness.  I hope I haven't offended anyone here, just trying to put the record straight.

lets see...YES every rest room (public) and bathroom (home) has a "washing tap"

Only port a pots & outhouses (which do not even have running water) have no washing tap

Some of our washrooms are so large we have 2 shower heads in the showers..and 2 wash basins(sinks) per bathroom..lol Are you french?? Oh yes.. the american women even have access to a place to shave thier legs and underarms....Imagine that!!
