American school kids?

Question

When do you have your summer school holiday?

In the Uk we broke up on 25th July and we have 6 weeks off school and some schools have 8 weeks off.

Plz tell me when u brake up (if u havn't already) how long u have and what skool u go to.

My children attend school in Oklahoma.  They were let off for the summer back in May on May 15th.  School starts back on August 8, 2008.  They get a 12 week summer break.  

They attend school in the Talihina, OK school district.
