Question:

American wanting to study in Sweden?

I'm an American hoping to study abroad in Sweden (university)

I'm a 19 year old American hopeful looking and hoping to study in Sweden - I've always been interested in Scandinavia and practicularly Swedish culture..during my time in highschool (i graduated one year ago) I admittedly wasn't the best student; I finished with a 2.1 GPA and wasn't the best behaved...though over time I came to realise how foolish I was (part of growing up? lol)

But what I am asking is do American GPA's correspond diffrently or exactly as Scandinavian standard GPAs? Or are they more tolerant of foreigners in terms of education and knowledge of Swedish

I'm sorry if my question is vague and worded poorly, but I cannot express this any other way and this an important and major move in my life I will take...thanks for taking the time to read and answer this. <3

  1. I am happy for you, this could be a very good experience for you! I can not answer your questions even though I am swedish and am currently studying at a swedish university, but I just wanted to give you this link: http://www.studyinsweden.se/

There are some university programs that you can go though in english, but maybe it would be fun for you to learn another language(Swedish).

Have fun, and don't let anything stop you!
