In my native language we use commas and punctuation differently than you do, I would like to learn how to use them properly. Can you suggest me a good web site to learn, and exercise?

I would really appreciate it.

THANK YOU.

  1. Hmm...someone asking Americans where they can go to learn? I wasn't aware anyone in the world thought so highly of us.

While I'm unable to think of anything at the moment, off the top of my head, I applaud your wish to learn, though it seems you already have a rather steady grasp of grammar. Especially compared to some of the people here..

  2. http://www.uottawa.ca/academic/arts/writ...

  3. You don't want to ask an american! You need to ask a Brit if you want to learn correct and proper english!!

  4. I would also try to find a good English as a Second Language, or ESL for short, course at your local high school after hours or college.  It is hard to learn English and taking a course from a live teacher that you can ask when you have questions is probably the best way.

  5. If you want help with the English language, the LAST place you should look for assistance is in the land where they butcher the English language... Besides, who says that they way we do it is the "proper" way??

But if you insist, I would check out http://owl.english.purdue.edu

That is Purdue University's online writing lab.
