Americans, how do we help them?

As the world can clearly see the USA has decended into a fascist police state with no signs of improvement on the horizon. Americans are not allowed an outward viewpoint because of the horrifically outrageous media control they are forced to live with for whatever reasons. Some of them have recently woken up but are trapped in their realizations and feel helpless and surrounded.

Apart from that, its citizens are forced to live under victorian living standards:

They are forced to pay for their healthcare.

They work far too much for too little.

They will fight for their right to live under corporate tyranny with anger and aggression and mindless patriotism.

They are told how to live and think daily with disturbingly shameless propaganda advertising.

A shockingly disturbing amount actually believe there is a god?! in 2008....

.....and perhaps most shockingly of all believe they live in a free country.

I would like to figure out a way to help, and am open to suggestions.

It must be sad in the world you live in, you need to get out more, there is a great big world out there that is a whole lot different that what you are seeing.

You can help by either leaving the most amazing country in the world or you can actually realize how lucky you are to live in it and stop trying to put it down.  It's people like you  that say things like that that that annoy me the most.  Our country would be better without you.

While there may be some truths in what you say, perhaps this is all a little overstated.  Americans do seem to be a lot of brainwashed to believe thier country and the way things are done is the best. In some ways this may be true but in many ways they are as you say inward looking, mindlessly patriotic and love to be in service of the Corporations.

In truth there are many Americans who doubt about the way things are but are silenced by thier fellows thru threat and intimidation.

I think this has always been thier way.

You can help out by reminding yourself that the USA is still the best place on Earth to live.

If you don't live in the USA, don't worry about us; we can handle our domestic political problems.
