Here's a link to an article about what happened after a meatpacking plant was raided by US immigration officials arresting in the process 389 Mexicans and Guatemalans in it.

What do you think of what happened afterwards? Are you happy now?

I'm not saying a word.

  1. why do so many racists hide behind the illegal immigration front. there are many more illegal americans running around with warrants and driving without drivers licenses. but they are fed up with those illegal people. what do you think got them so heated about those folk specifically? could it be cuz they are different?

  2. Nearly 400 illegal immigrants were arrested at the plant in the biggest such raid on a single work site in U.S. history. State officials say dozens of underage workers were employed there in violation of child labour laws. Agriprocessors has denied any wrongdoing.

If you condone child slavery what else can you say. It's all about watching the dollar grow

  3. LEGAL immigrants doing a job that was made available by getting rid of ILLEGALS. This also happened on a smaller scale at the factory I work at.  I have no problem with this.  Anyone who is legally here and wants to work is fine.

  4. I'm happy as a lark. Legal immigrants have taken the jobs. All is as it should be.

  5. ok...

so it sounds like illegal immigrants are being replaced by legal ones..

...all this exposes is the true agenda of the crowd that keeps saying "you're racist" or "we're a country of immigrants"...

...you know....the crowd that thinks anyone who doesn't agree with them is a neo-n**i klansman....?  just goes to show you that narrow-mindedness spans the political "left-right" spectrum...

  7. They need to start checking them at the border, and we won't have this problem.

  8. Yes, I'm happy because legal immigrants were hired in their place.

I've got a thumbs down; somebody must dislike legal Somalian refugees. Could that person be a racist?

  9. and where were the American Citizens who complained about not having jobs because the illegals took them????????? More immigrants to do the work others don't want to do......good for them! and they said the citizens were going to line up for these jobs. Funny that everybody is glad.......BUT WHERE WERE THE CITIZENS?....collecting un-employment maybe?

Thanks for the proof that shows that there are jobs Citizens won't do, and that's a meat packing plant not a farm or field.

    .

  10. Well, the Somali refugees are in the country legally, and that is the key difference.

Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with them finding work. If the majority don't want to work in anything physical, demanding or gross, then you'll have those jobs offered to immigrants, legal or not.

Not all the complaining in the world can change that. You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want to keep society as it was in the times of your grandparents, then you have to work like your grandparents.

But no one wants to, so society has to change.

  11. Multiply that by 10000 and we'd have a good start.  Otherwise, it's just a drop in the bucket.

  12. It's a tiny yet significant 1st step in cleaning up the country.

  13. Most people I know including myself work just as hard if not harder than our grandparents.

It's not our fault employers don't want to pay what the job is worth.  Employers dont' have the dignity and pride in America like when my grand father was alive.  They are much more greedy.

  14. Its nice that the Somalis are finding work. But where are all those US citizens who were always complaining about illegals taking "their" jobs, I thought there would be a line two miles long, guess they were only kidding.

  15. As long as they are here legally I'm happy, personally I don't care where a person is from as long as they follow law.
